Shortcutz Luanda meets EcoJovens

competition aims to support short film projects focusing on environmental sustainability and nature cinematography. The aim is to stimulate the production of short films that contribute to raising environmental awareness of climate change, the role of young people in sustainable development and environmental protection, as well as highlighting the reuse of waste and the circular economy. In addition, the aim is to increase the visibility of national cinema and promote discussion between professionals, students, amateurs and the film-loving community throughout Angola, with a view to international circulation on the Shortcutz Network.

competition is an activity of Shortcutz Luanda, part of the international platform Shortcutz  Network (Labz Network), which on the first edition was  supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Angola, CINEMAX and EcoJovens Project – funded by the European Union through its Delegation in Angola and implemented by the Salesians of Dom Bosco in Angola (SDB), in partnership with the NGOs Jóvenes Y Desarrollo, ICRA and VIS – which aim to contribute and enhance the human capital of angolan youth and promoting behavioral change in waste management.
